Hi All!
Seth and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our twins! They were born May 16, 2011, and our daughter, Avery Lynn Price, was 5 lbs 3 oz and 20 inches long. Our son, Liam Munro Price, was 5 lbs 9 oz and 20 inches long. We got home from the hospital on Friday, May 20, and we are doing well. We feel so blessed and thankful to have these two amazing little people in our lives! Pictures are coming soon!

Our Wedding Album...Almost Six Years in the Making!
Diversions are quite necessary for me these days. So, I've spent the last several days making that wedding album we never got (long story...unreliable photographer and a refund/copywright release debaucle almost two years after the wedding). Here's a preview...feel free to go to blurb.com to explore more if you're so inclined!

The Vague Memory of My Feet...
First off, Happy 32nd Anniversary to my wonderful parents, Layne and Marti! I hope you have a wonderful day!
And now for the baby update: We are almost 35 weeks! The babies are doing well and the doctors are really happy with their progress. They say any time they arrive now is fine, but we're really hoping they'll hold off another week or two to ensure that they'll be able to go home with us, rather than having to stay in the NICU for a few days. Either way though, we are SO thankful to be at this point, rather than back at 23 weeks and having contractions! My bedrest restrictions have been loosened up now too, so it's nice to be able to do a few more things around the house and be a little more active. As you can see from the picture below though, I'm getting rather large...so no marathons for me!
Since so many of you have asked, here's a picture--no laughing or jokes about Volkswagens! I do have to admit I'm looking forward to seeing my toes again sometime soon though... :)
Thanks again for all of your support and have a great weekend!

Twins Update!
Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the lack of updates recently! We are doing fine and are glad to say I'm almost 33 weeks along now! We had another ultrasound on Wednesday, and both babies are looking good and weighing in at about 4.5 lbs each! Baby Girl had hiccups the whole time; Baby Boy showed us that he's got some hair already! They continue to be breech, so it's looking like c-section will be their preferred method of arrival. If the babies haven't arrived on their own by Wednesday, June 8, we have a c-section scheduled that day. So, we're getting close! Thanks to all for your thoughts and support--more news soon!
P.S. The babies were hiding their faces at the ultrasound and we didn't get any great pictures, but I'll try to get some of their nursery posted soon. And Seth says I really should post a picture of myself...we'll see. :)

Hanging in There!!
Hi All! Sorry for the lack of updates lately...it's been a crazy couple of weeks! I ended up with a kidney stone last week (fairly common during pregnancy apparently, but not something I would wish on anyone!) and had to spend a few days in the hospital. I'm home now and everything seems to be getting back to normal. The babies are getting big and we're excited for another ultrasound next week. In the meantime, we're planning a quiet Easter, and I'm excited to eat some ham! Hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

Dr. Seuss in the House!!
Hello again! We've been decorating the nursery and Seth finished this wall a few nights ago. I think it turned out really well! It's done with decals that peel off, so no painting necessary! Sorry for the poor quality cell phone picture--I promise to post some good ones once the room is all finished.
In other news, Seth has his FE exam (roughly equivalent to a board exam for engineers) this Saturday, so please think extra-smart thoughts for him! The babies seem to be doing well and are growing; the dogs and I continue to split our days between the bedroom and the couch, but we're doing fine. Thanks to all of you for the phone calls and emails--they really help the days to pass more quickly!

The Octopus in My Belly!
Lately I've been feeling as if there's an octopus in my belly! The babies seem to be moving all over the place, and when you think of it, I guess there are the right number of limbs to have my very own little octopus. Seth and I went to the ultrasound center to see our little octopus today, and we were thrilled to get a very good report. Each baby weighs almost three pounds, and both are measuring a little large for their gestational age, particularly in their arms and legs (Seth is really hoping this correlates with future height and athletic ability...I voted for at least letting them be born before calling the pro scouts!). Here are some pictures (sorry they're not too clear), but hope you enjoy anyway!

Welcome to Our Blog!
Hi all! As many of you may know, Seth and I are currently expecting boy/girl twins. They're due in June, and I'm on bedrest due to some preterm contractions. Everything is going fine right now, but to pass the time, and to keep all of you up to date, I thought a blog might be fun. So...here goes! Stay tuned for updates, and I promise to put up some pictures soon! :) And thanks so much to all of you for your support!
